Ove r vie w :

The Atlanta, GA based Logistics Investment Strategy Analyst’s primary role will be to support the US Logistics team by developing our investment strategy and supporting decision making. The investment management team studies real estate market, supply chain, and economic trends to guide investment and portfolio management. The analyst will use advanced analytics to update and build new tools for the broader US logistics team using both third party and proprietary Brookfield data.

Key Accountabilities :

  • Assist in the ongoing development of our US logistics strategy through the selection of our target markets. Work alongside our investment and portfolio management teams to study supply/demand, economic, and demographic trends.

  • Support investment teams by building tools and preparing the market analysis for new acquisitions and developments. Utilize GIS system to understand demographic (including labor) and economic demand drivers at the investment level.

  • Administer our data strategy by gathering, organizing, and preparing analysis. Work alongside internal and external partners to execute the strategy and develop predictive data analytics tools. Maintain and implement Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning, and Large Language Models to utilize the power of our data and Brookfield ecosystem.

  • Provide support to broad US Logistics team on how to utilize various tools, models and systems the Investment Strategy team maintains.

  • Track US and global trends that affect our business and share those with the global teams. Prepare our logistics dashboard monthly and implement improvements.

  • Gather data and aid in the preparation of presentations for various board, fund, investor, and industry groups.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Real Estate and/or Finance preferred.

  • 1-3 years experience in real estate, research/strategy, consulting, or business analytics role.

  • Thrives on creative problem solving and innovation – “outside the box” thinker.

  • Strong analytical skill with ability to organize, analyze, and summarize large data sets.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required. Experience with Machine Learning, Programming, Relational Databases, Power BI is a plus.

  • Effective communication, time management, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work well in a team, confidently sharing ideas and recommendations.
