Position Overview

We are seeking an IT Project Coordinator to join our IT team. You will be part of the Office of the PMO (Program Management Office) team that supports our CIO (Chief Information Officer), our VP of the PMO, and our overall IT department. This is a developmental position in our IT organization. It is an exciting opportunity for candidates who are recent graduates or would like to grow into an IT project management or business analyst role. With an organization that is so innovative about our business, IT is a critical part of our innovation engine. Our PMO is key to developing long term technical strategy to support our business, and finding the simplest, targeted, measurable ways to help our project teams deliver.

This role will be critical; you will help our leaders and the team function, and will be the face of IT to many who need our help. Following are key responsibilities:

  • Coordinates, prepares and edits IT department reports and presentations for various projects and initiatives. Strong skills in PowerPoint, and visual presentations and Excel are very helpful to this role.

  • Ad hoc analysis of data – surveys, finances, scoring models, organizational analysis, etc. to shed insight on our progress.

  • Ensure that invoices, contracts, change orders, purchase orders, SOWs and insurance coverage for IT are consistently routed, stored and tracked within our policies and procedures so we can track and renew on time, raising concerns to manager and other team members of any unexpected costs.

  • Build rapport and strong relationships with all IT department leaders and team members,

  • Be comfortable escalating to various people help resolve things that block progress.

  • Complete special projects as requested that enable technology projects and initiatives including training, communications, testing and analysis and support as needed.

  • Help organize, and coordinate key team meetings and messages that reinforce the collaboration and success of our team.

  • Maintaining the email boxes for technology contracts and IT communications.

  • Own small projects in IT, with a high level of quality and track results.

  • Problem solve to support our CIO and leaders as needed.

  • The ability to quickly learn functional aspects of the retail real estate vertical is necessary.   • The ability to establish/maintain high level of coworker trust and confidence

  • College degree, ideally with coursework in IT and business; liberal arts majors welcome.

  • Previous work experience

  • Ability to manage work independently

  • Ability to work and learn independently and in a team situation

  • Ability to deal with multiple tasks effectively and establish priorities

  • Strong attention to detail
