Position Overview

This is a fast-paced and dynamic position with a high degree of visibility in the organization. Responsibilities for this position include general ownership of assigned processes within the monthly and quarterly consolidation and reporting process, including: the preparation of financial information required to prepare consolidated financial statements and disclosures for a portfolio of consolidated properties.


  • Prepares consolidation and intercompany elimination entries on a monthly and quarterly basis

  • Assists with the optimization of consolidation, elimination, and reporting procedures

  • Performs monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement variance analysis

  • Assists in the preparation of monthly forecasts

  • Works with external auditors to assist in quarterly and year-end audit procedures

  • Assists with disclosures for SEC filings, including quarterly earnings release and Forms 10-Q and 10-K

  • Ensures compliance with internal controls

  • Prepares ad hoc analyses for management and other duties as assigned and needed


  • Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA or working towards CPA preferred

  • 1-2 year of corporate and/or real estate accounting preferred

  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management, staff and external firms

  • Strong analytical, organizational, written and oral communication skills

  • Proactive, deadline focused and organized

  • Experience with JD Edwards and HFM preferred

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
