We Are Brookfield Properties:

We are seeking an Analyst or Associate to join the FP&A team at Brookfield Properties U.S. Office Division in New York, NY. Role & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare annual business plan inclusive of 5 year financial statements and presentations that reflect the key strategic initiatives for the Company’s US portfolio of office properties and developments and regional corporate entities

  • Coordinate with various teams to prepare and continuously reforecast capital plan and portfolio-wide cash flows (including funding requests and bi-weekly liquidity reporting to Corporate/senior management)

  • Utilize financial models and property-level information to complete quarterly income statement forecasts with meaningful comparison to business plan and forecast-to-actual analyses

  • Consolidate operating and financial information for multiple portfolios of office properties with thoughtful review and accuracy to prepare presentations for oversight boards and senior management

  • Actively participate in various group initiatives and special projects pertaining to both operating and development assets

  • Communicate timelines and deliverables to regional teams

  • Track deliverables from regional teams and input into presentation slides

Your Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with strong GPA

  • 2-3 years of related experience

  • Possess clear, concise, and effective written/verbal communication skills that drive high quality, accurate results

  • Ability to develop strong rapport with stakeholders and build an organizational network to achieve objectives

  • Employ excellent interpersonal skills for effective team communication and project management

  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Proven investigative, solution, and detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and quantitative skills

  • Ability to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic, fast paced environment while handling multiple projects

  • Highly motivated with the capability to work independently and as a team in a deadline driven environment

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Type: Non-exempt

Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly

Annual Base Salary Range: $95,000 - $110,000
